Exploration System Consultant
Qualification:
a.A bachelor’s degree and or master degree in Earth Science, Computer Science or a closely related field; M.S. or Ph.D. degree preferred, with a minimum of 15 years of work experience with at least 10 years of extensive experience directly related G&G applications development and support.
b.Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
c.Working knowledge of the latest developments in computer science and oil and gas IT technology through formal education, relevant work experience, conferences, seminars and professional journals.
d.Experience supporting at least one: Petrel, TechLog, PetroMod, DecisionSpace® Desktop, OpenWorks®, DSS Dynamic Surveillance, Kingdom, Petra; and one other major oil and gas software and workflow.
e.Working knowledge of OS (Windows and/or Unix/Linux) and at least one of these two relational databases: Oracle/SQL Server.
f.It is highly preferred to have experience with support of micro seismic monitoring software and workflows (e.g., Pinnacle) and/or experience with software and workflows deployed in collaborative real-time oil and gas operations support centers (e.g., InSite Anywhere®, InterACT, Petrolink)."
