Senior Platform Owner - Unix and Middleware

Our client is one of the Middle East's leading banks, with a wide network covering multiple countries. They offer a values-led culture, with tailored staff development programmes and competitive benefits, for roles in commercial, investment and private banking, plus operations and IT. They are looking to hire a self-motivated and innovative professional to be part of their growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible with:
Standardized stack of Unix and Middleware products across Company Datacenters that should meet the different workload requirements.
Well defined and actionable Strategy, Roadmap and Backlog for the Standard Technology Stack.
Lower the product TCO by driving efficiency and looking for innovative alternatives.
Design solutions that cater for enhancing the operational stability.
Address Problem tickets, Risk and Audit items in the products backlog.
The successful candidate will possess the following skill sets:
Bachelors of Computer Science or Equivalent
10 years of experience at a relevant managerial position in large organizations
Banking background
Excellent technical knowledge in Red Hat Linux OS and JBoss Platforms
Good technical knowledge in Traditional RISC Platforms (AIX, Solaris)
Good technical knowledge in IBM WAS and Oracle Weblogic platforms.
